COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course is a weapons of mass destruction (WMD) radiological/nuclear overview designed for first responders and other personnel who are likely to be the first to receive and screen victims of a radiological/nuclear incident. It focuses on the basics of radiation, possible health effects, hazard identification, and proper notification procedures.

Directions to the Pasco County Health Department in Dade City:
Directions from I-75: go EAST on State Road 52 for about 8.5 miles. When you pass the Pasco County High School on your right, you are coming into Dade City.
You will make a sweeping left curve, then start looking for Florida Ave.
Two blocks past Florida Ave. is Howard Ave. There is a small church on the southeast corner and a Doctor' s office on the northeast corner of Howard Ave.
Turn right onto Howard Ave. Proceed to first stop sign. Continue on Howard Ave. The Health Department will be on your right, before you get to 15th Street.
Note: If you are coming from the north, 15th Street is not a through street to the north.
